Work Experiences:

Attorney Hillgen-Santa has joined forces with her husband Michael to bring her business expertise to help him run the business end of Hillgen-Santa Financial Group, LLC. With this she brings her extensive knowledge of the law, business, technology, and vast array of relationships all over the country. Jennifer has spent most of her professional life working with corporations and handling business contracts, complex negotiations and dispute resolution. Ms. Hillgen-Santa has spent many years as the CEO/EVP of her family's software business, National Distributor Systems, Inc. She also ran several small businesses including JMF Hillgen Ventures, LLC which she owns/operates as a commercial real estate investment/holding firm. Jennifer has served since 2000 as an Adjunct Professor at Fairfield University's Graduate School of Business where she teaches MBA students Negotiations and Dispute Resolution, as well as, Global, Legal, Social, Ethical Environments of Business. While enjoying teaching MBA students, volunteering her time with many worthwhile causes including Canine Cancer, she has decided to help her husband Michael grow the Hillgen-Santa Financial Group, LLC all while serving in the capacity of her favorite title, Mother, of  their young daughter. Jennifer believes that her and Michael can better serve their clients with personal attention, better technology, and without all the scares of some Wall Street firms. Jennifer has grown up and lived, worked and raises a family in this Town and her reputation and that of the Hillgen-Santa Financial Group, LLC is of the utmost importance to her and her family. She truly believes this firm can better their clients financial outlook and won't settle at letting anyone down.
